Kanban Mythbusters

Did you know that there are no timeboxes in Kanban? You might immediately say "Yes, of course, I knew that!". But are you sure that's true? Would you bet on that?

As with many other things, there are a lot of myths about Kanban. Things people overhear, or perhaps wrongly attribute to Kanban. Often certain practices are done or not done because it's part of the framework/methodology/someone told us to. However, we should always understand why we are doing this (whether it's part of Kanban or not).

This is why we created a Miro template that exposes some myths around Kanban as well as states some facts. You can find it on the Miroverse page and can use it for free.

Whether you want to check your understanding, use it as an introduction to Kanban with a new team or organization, or trigger discussions around current practices, the template has you covered with common myths and not well-known facts.

Apart from the facts, it contains the "solution" (whether it's indeed a fact or just a myth) and an explanation as to why we think that.

If you are looking for a playful way to learn about Kanban, check out our template. Feel free to reach out to us if you want to learn more or want to propose another fact or myth that we can include in the template.
